A security flaw in JavaScript's Document Object Model (DOM) affects most major web browsers. The flaw could be exploited to allocate large portions of memory, which could crash the applications. The flaw affects all tested versions of Internet Explorer (IE) as well as older versions of Opera, Chrome, Safari and Firefox, although the newer versions of most browsers, with the exception of IE, have been patched against the vulnerability.
